Who is my Coach?

Coaches will be assigned to teams either just before or just after evaluations

When will I know what team my child is on?

Your division managers will be working feverishly with the coaches and evaluation team to get the teams figured out. Most levels will not know until early April, as assessments and tryouts will start in Mid February and continue through the first week of April with a 2 week break in March to accommodate spring break . Multiple teams in a division need to be balanced per BCLA rules, so further movements can happen as the season starts.

How can I help?

This entire organization is run by volunteers, help is always needed and appreciated! Once your team is set, managers, door people, coaches, assistant coaches, score keeping, timekeeping - all very necessary positions! Please proactively reach out to your coordinator, coach or manager if you can volunteer your services! It makes us a stronger community and you get to broaden your circle of friends!

Where will games and practices take place?

Our home arenas are South Delta Recreation Center,North Delta Recreation Center, Sungod and Ladner Leisure Center. We try to keep Mini tyke and Tyke players community based but in some cases do to number of players or closure of arenas this is not possible.
Practices can also take place at Tsawwassen outdoor box, Ladner outdoor box and Delview outdoor box.

What days of the week are games and practices?

The Corp of Delta gives us times that we can use the indoor and outdoor floors. We will try to work with coaches schedules to make it easy for them to be available.

The registration date has passed - is it too late to register?

Depending on the age of your child, depends on when registration closes. Once teams are declared and full, those who register late will be put on a waiting list and can be “released” to other clubs looking for players.

Do kids wanting to play for the Delta have to live in the community?

Yes. You are required to play in the town you live in. Proof of residency is required.
